My Surface 2 was fully charged last night. Turned it off and disconnected from the power. Came back to it today (12 hours later) and the unit won't turn on. Back feels warm as if it has been on all the day. Battery obviously flat. Put it back onto power ad screen comes on, starts to boot up then says: 'Bitlocker Recovery in Progress'. At this point I have to hunt down and find a 36 digit code to manually enter. After a few seconds it has booted back into Windows 8.1 as I left it last night. My questions are: 1. Why did this happen? Am I going to have to enter this ridiculous number every time I turn it back on? Is it going to run down over night, every night? If so, then it seems to me unsafe to leave the unit disconnected to the mains when it is not in use. How do I ensure that when I put the unit into sleep mode, it REALLY ACTUALLY SLEEPS, and doesn't just run the battery down. Jun 15, 2011. I get the following error in the wordpress error popping fashion: Purchase code verification failed. Now upon inspecting i see this: GET 404 (Not Found) And indeed i cannot locate such file in that folder. However on my computer i can SEE THAT IT HAS SUCH file. I re-installed the theme several times, changing to PHP 5.4 or 7.1 beforehand — same thing. According to my theme support (YOLO THEME – THEY SUCK!) — they blame it on the server. According to my server they blame it on the theme/wordpress/developer (a.k.a me). NOTICE – that i DO see the file in the FILE MANAGER. Yet i cant see it loaded using inspect on the wordpress’s dashboard activation theme page, while looking at the sources. Can you help me out, please? • This topic was modified 6 months, 3 weeks ago.
